Milkfish With Yellow Seasoning
Milkfish With Yellow Seasoning
Ingredients
- 2 medium-sized milkfish
- 800 ml of water (tastes)
- Tamarind
- 10 chili stalks
- salt to taste
Seasoning:
- 7 cloves of shallot
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 turmeric segments
- 1 medium ginger segment
Instructions
- First wash them clean, and cut them in half. Between head and tail. Take the dirt that is in the belly of the milkfish and gills. Wash again with lime so it doesn't fishy.
- Peel onion and garlic, peel also turmeric and ginger. Sliced onions are a little thick. Then slice the ginger lengthwise into a few slices and thinly sliced turmeric into a few slices too. Remove the chili stalks.
- Take the presto, add the milkfish and slices all seasoning and then pour enough water. Give salt to taste (usually I'm a little more salty broth) and add tamarind and chili intact.
- Presto milkfish for 1 hour, wait for the presto whistle until it doesn't sound too much and lift up. Milkfish presto is ready to be served.
