Chicken Tongseng
Ingredients
- 500 gr chicken fillets (diced) / can use other parts of the chicken
- 200 gr cabbage (400gr original recipe), sliced
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Whole raw
- 1 lemongrass stalk, geprek
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 pieces of orange leaf
- 1 galangal segment, geprek
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1200 ml of water
Ground spices :
- 10 cloves of shallot
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 5 grains of hazelnut
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- to taste brown sugar
- Salt / flavoring
Instructions
- Fried chicken until cooked, but do not dry, lift, drain. (This part may be skip, so the chicken doesn't need to be fried)
- Heat oil, then saute ground spices, add Salam leaves, orange leaves, galangal, lemongrass. Cook the spices until cooked.
- Add chicken, stir until smooth. Add water. Let the water shrink a little.
- Add cayenne pepper, then add soy sauce. Stir well. Add cabbage and tomatoes. Cook until boiling.
- Finally add the leeks, stir briefly, then turn off the heat. Ready to be served.
