Cross Stitch Heart Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
- A batch of your favorite heart-shaped sugar cookies
- Edible icing grids
- Icing in various colors (Red, White, Green, Yellow, and Pink)
- Plastic Bags (for squirting your icing onto these cute little cookies)
First, stick your edible icing grids onto a pre iced cookie by lightly brushing it with a bit of water, then cutting the grid around the shape of the heart with scissors.
Then separate your icing into little bags and squeeze little dots onto your edible icing grid
Then keep making your little dot patterns to your heart’s content. As with any DIY, there is no right or wrong way to do things, it’s all a matter of taste and personal preference. These are your own artistic creations so let your imagination go wild here.
