Crockpot Bacon Garlic Chicken Breast
Crockpot Bacon Garlic Chicken Breast
I can not stress how easy this meal is to make. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy dinner for the busy work week, or you are looking or a fun and tasty meal for the weekend alike, you need to make these bacon wrapped chicken breasts. I thought there was no way for this meal to only have 4 ingredients and turn out so good.
Over the holiday season, I was overwhelmed with things to do from shopping for gifts to spending time with my family. I am usually looked upon for preparing feasts night on end for the countless family members who stop by my house nearing Christmas. Although I love to cook and spend time in the kitchen, I needed a break from all of the holiday madness as I searched for something easy I could make for dinner that the whole family would like. When I found the recipe for these bacon wrapped chicken breasts I thought it was too good to be true. Only containing 4 simple ingredients and virtually no stress or effort involved, I was beyond amazed. After everyone tried them and told me how much they loved them, I knew I hit a home run. Just look how easy they are to make:
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 12 slices bacon thick cut
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- salt and pepper
- fresh parsley (optional)
Step One:
Mix the brown sugar, garlic, salt and pepper together in a bowl until they are undistinguishable from each-other. Then coat the chicken breasts in with the rub you just created.
Step Two:
Wrap the chicken breasts in bacon.
Step Three:
Put the bacon wrapped chicken breasts in the slow cooker and sprinkle the rub on top. Then cook on low for approximately 3 hours or until the chicken reads 165°F.
Step Four:
Broil for about 2-3 minutes and add parsley on top if you please.
I like to serve this chicken with broccoli and potatoes, but it will also go well with anything. Check out the video below for a full how to.
